North America’s first fully integrated, electric refuse -collection vehicle and McNeilus’ exclusive ePTO technology will be among the featured solutions, with 14 McNeilus vehicles on display.
DODGE CENTER, Minn. (April 20, 2023) – McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. will spotlight its innovation, expertise and refuse collection solutions designed to move the industry and customers forward at Waste Expo 2023. The annual convention and tradeshow takes place May 1-4 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
New advancements in electrification, telematics, automation and other refuse collection solutions will be featured in McNeilus booth #2429 The following are a few highlights attendees can expect to see.
“We’re focused on driving the refuse collection industry forward,” said Lee Dreas, vice president and general manager, at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing. “We’re looking forward to meeting with customers and partners at Waste Expo to talk about how we can support their current needs and prepare them for the future as our industry continues to evolve and transform.”
McNeilus continues to provide customers with premier refuse collection solutions, which will be reflected by the 14 McNeilus® truck bodies on display and featured in partner booths throughout the exhibit hall, including a McNeilus® ePTO Zero Radius™ Automated Side Loader in booth #1337.
Continuing to sustain and support industry partnerships is a key priority for McNeilus. Aligned with this priority, the company is once again donating to the Environmental Research and Education Foundation’s (EREF) annual charitable auction at Waste Expo. This year’s auction will feature a McNeilus Atlantic Series Front Loader® on a Mack TerraPro chassis. In addition, the auction will include a McNeilus® Heavy Duty Rear Loader donated by Rush Refuse Systems and another McNeilus Atlantic Series Front Loader® donated by BTR. Last year, donations from McNeilus and other industry partners raised more than $3.5 million to support scholarships, industry research and other EREF programs.
